Montenegro Blockchain Forum
Our team member Miroslav Grkovic attended the Montenegro Blockchain Forum and had the opportunity to hear about the existing practices in regulating blockchain and crypto business as well as present Unique.vc’s contributing to the industry.
The Forum was organized by ADP-Zid (Association for Democratic Prosperity) on May 26th/27th in Podgorica, Montenegro. Through various presentations, meet ups, panels and roundtables, its intention was to bring different parties together to discuss how the development and implementation of blockchain solutions can contribute to smart and sustainable economic growth.
The speakers presented on the topics related to Web3, Metaverse, NFTs, macroeconomic impact of stablecoins, blockchain regulation, and the concept of Blockchain for good — how blockchain technology affects the development of the community, solves its challenges and develops a solidarity economy.

The topic of Miroslav’s presentation was What is a DAO in blockchain? He covered the topics of smart contracts, voting and governance in DAOs and Unique.vc platform.

AthensDAO HackerHouseX
In an industry that’s constantly evolving, networking and learning are essential for a project’s growth.
Our core team attended the AthensDAO HackerHouseX, a six-day event with in-person guidance from core Solana Labs engineers, DAO thought leaders, and mentors from the top builders of the ecosystem.
It was held in Athens, Greece from May 22–28th and it was the first community-run HackerHouseX organized by the Grapeprotocol focusing on Solana blockchain, DAOs & NFTs.
The team had a chance to discuss the DAO industry with representatives from Squads, Realms, Mango Markets, JetProtocol, Streamflow and Hubble. Additionally, Alex Migitko held a presentation on DAOs importance and Unique.vc platform.

Unique.vc Platform
Since the launch of the Public Beta of Unique.vc platform is approaching, our Product and Development team are working hard on implementing the feedback received from the Private Beta testing.
The team has enhanced the NFT based clubs feature where a Venture Club is created around a certain NFT collection and one NFT represents one vote. Unique.vc has first created this feature at Prague Hacker House with the help of Sebastian Bor, a Solana Labs engineer. They have further worked on the feature of filtering and sorting of clubs in order to offer the best user experience possible.
The Development team has also worked on UX improvements and the design of the platform’s dashboard.
